The Most Disturbing Obsessed Person
This is a true story. It’s really distrurbing. Well this is a really a rough (or bumpy) summary. The ideas really don’t mash up well, you have to read the full article here.
Carl Tanzler, is a radiologist from Florida. He was born on 1877 where Tuberculosis was seen as a deadly decease. Although he was a married man and had two daughters, he claimed that his ancestor told him that he would meet a young beautiful dark-haired girl, and that this would be his true love. He claimed he had a cure for Tuberculosis but he was never licensed for this. After a few years he met Elena Hoyos, who also had Tuberculosis. To her family’s desperation, they let Carl Tanzler treat her.
The radiologist tried his best to romance the girl, as for Elena, there were no reports about her returning the feelings. Unfortunately Elena still died and Carl visited her tomb regularly. What the public did not know is that he was trying to stop Elena’s body from decomposing by adding Formaldehyde on her body regularly. Eventually, he stole the body and brought it home and continued restoring Elena’s body. He romanced the girl or should I say, the body, and when the skin decomposes, he replaces them with his own mixture. There were even rumors that he placed a tube on the body’s reproductive area for fornication. But it was never confirmed though. And everything ended well when Elena’s sister heard about it and had Tanzler arrested.
